Senior Director, Creative Business Development & Innovation – EMEA / WARNER MUSIC GROUP

Paul Sonkamble works with the creative side of business development for Warner Music Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa – based out of their Nordic HQ in Stockholm and focussing on innovative concepts to grow artist reach and consumption in the digital world.
Coming from a 10 year career at EMI and Parlophone in both the UK and Sweden, most recently as Parlophone Label Group’s Head of Innovation, Sonkamble and his team were responsible for world first streaming integrated artist apps, award nominated digital sites, music hack events and worldwide digital campaigns for the likes of Roxette.
After studying sound engineering and finding his way into the advertising world at Leo Burnett, Sonkamble followed a love for music to EMI in 2003, working in the industry ever since.
